In an effort to make your travel and accommodations as stress-free and low cost as possible, we have selected one of Tallahassee's premier facilities, located in the heart of downtown Tallahassee, to host both your overnight stay and our training sessions. The Doubletree Hotel offers free shuttle service to and from the airport and features a very nice onsite restaurant as well as a full bar. There are also many eating and entertainment establishments within walking distance of the hotel, so it will not be essential for you to rent a car.

The Doubletree is offering our group a discounted room rate of $99.00 per night (plus tax). Reservations may be made by either calling the hotel directly at 1-800-222-8733 or via the Internet. Please identify yourself under the Athena Assurance Academy Training group. All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card or an advance deposit. . All individual reservations need to be made prior to the cut off date of August 19th, 2011 to receive the discounted nightly rate of $99.00. After August 19th, you will be charged the prevailing rate, unless you qualify for some other type of discount (like AAA). The hotel has a policy that if cancellations are made within 24 hours of your expected stay, you will still be charged for your room.

Cancellation Policy:

Event: Cancellations made before August 9, 2011, qualify for a full refund. No refunds after August 9, 2011. We may, however, offer you a credit towards a future training event.

Hotel: No-shows or cancellations made within 24 hours of your expected stay will result in a charge against your credit card. Please check with the hotel for additional details.
