The Athena Assurance Academy is designed to meet the training needs of compliance officers from both government and the private sector. While attending one of our investigative schools, Eric Miller, the Manager of Corporate Compliance for a major insurance corporation and the former Deputy Chief Financial Officer for the State of Florida, described to us the need for a comprehensive and affordable school to fill a training void for those who are directly or indirectly involved in compliance reviews and or investigations. With Eric's help we've mapped out a 3 1/2 day school that will provide participants with a wealth of information and practical tools for conducting and defending compliance reviews, audits, inspections and investigations. We are in the process of having our curriculum approved for continuing education credits by several accrediting bodies.
Classes will begin at 1:00 PM on Monday, 09/12/2011, and continue until 3:00 PM on Thursday, 09/15/2011. All training will be conducted in the Main Ballroom on the first floor of the Doubletree Hotel in Downtown Tallahassee, Florida.
